WAV is the product of the evolution of providing top notch service to the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry. Operations commenced on the 16th of September 1977 as an onshore Oil and Gas marine spread in the Niger Delta, a business which still continues till date. The company realized the dearth of adequate supplies and materials for the industry as well as insufficient technical capacity in support of its operations.This resulted in the establishment of the service bases at both Onne and Warri, which immediately commenced the provision of services for its in-house fleet as well as for vessels owned by other businesses in the area. The next step in the evolution of the company was the introduction of Dry-Dock Facilities.
Today WAV maintains and operates a versatile fleet of vessels which provides WAV with the ability to offer the following range of services: Offshore Accommodation, Pipe lay, Offshore Construction, SURF and Marine Support. Through its engineering and operational capabilities in Nigeria, WAV offers the foregoing services on a turnkey EPIC contract basis. WAV also owns and operates a large and diversified fleet of marine support services vessels in Nigeria and West Africa and provides support to the Oil and Gas Industry in the area. The fleet consists of various vessels varying from Offshore Construction Vessels, AHT/AHTS Vessels, Construction and Accommodation Barges, Offshore Cargo Barges and Marine Support Vessels. Today, WAV provides excellent full value chain services to the Maritime and Oil and Gas Industries in Nigeria and West Africa. We are spectacularly positioned in availing our clients with our expertise built over the past 40 years of operating both inshore and offshore in the challenging but rewarding environment of the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria in particular and in West Africa generally.
