The project Involved the disconnection of Buoy 17471 from BRT, Recovery of Mooring chains, anchors and Retro pods anodes. The buoy was towed to CONTRACTOR yard, lifted, dismantled and detailed inspection was carried out in conjunction with OEM for the buoy refurbishment.
Detailed scope of work including engineering deliverables / procedures was developed for the overhauling phase.

BOP SPM 3 Replacement Project

The BOP SPM 3 Replacement Project included the disconnection of SPM 17471 and its towing to BRT for storage, along with the disconnection of SPM 1448 and its installation at the SPM1 location. The scope also involved the partial replacement of mooring chains at the SPM3 location, the installation and pre-commissioning of a new stock buoy with all associated accessories at the SPM3 location—including floating and subsea hoses, and mooring hawser—and the final commissioning of the system.

PCIC for 20” X 23km Offshore Pipeline Scope and Loading System Installation
Atlantic Terminal Infrastructure Limited (ATIL)
The project involved the installation of a 20” x 23 km crude oil offshore pipeline and an SPM/PLEM loading system. It encompassed the procurement, construction, and installation of the pipeline system, along with ancillary equipment such as pig traps, running from the onshore terminal to the offshore loading facility. The WAV team installed the SPM/PLEM system and worked on the integration of its instrumentation and controls with the onshore terminal control system. Following installation, pre-commissioning, mechanical completion, and commissioning activities were carried out to ensure the system was fully operational.

12-inch ADNB – ADNA Pipeline Design and Construction Project
ADDAX Petroleum Development Nigeria Limited / Field Offshore Design Engineering (FODE)
The project encompassed mobilization and demobilization of equipment and labor, along with competent project management and installation engineering personnel. It involved the procurement of materials for the 12.750” x 3.267 km pipeline from ADNB to ADNA (concrete weight-coated pipeline). Pre- and post-lay surveys were conducted, followed by the fabrication, installation, and pre-commissioning activities (flush, gauge, clean, and hydrotest). The final deliverable included the completion of an as-built dossier.

TUBU Field (OML 52) Development – Pipeline & Umbilical Transportation & Installation

The project involved transporting and installing two pipelines and an umbilical between the IMA Platform and Tubu WHP. This included 10 km of electrical power, chemical distribution, and fiber optic umbilical. The installation also featured approximately 10 km of 4” and 12” welded pipelines connected to flanged risers. The final phase included riser pull-ins, pipeline pre-commissioning, umbilical testing, and post-lay burial to a depth of 1 meter below the seabed.

Sonam Field Development Project

The Sonam Field Development Project is located in shelf concession OML 91, Escravos Area, offshore Nigeria, in water depths ranging from 7 metres around Okan to 66 metres at Sonam. The offshore work commenced in January 2016.
The scope of work is the installation of a 32 km 20-inch pipeline between the Sonam and Okan fields as well as a Pig Receiver Platform including jacket and bridge at the Okan end of the pipeline. As-Built Surveys were completed which included: GVI, Stills and video, CP, damage survey, scour survey, orientation survey, torque checks on connections, leak survey
The offshore installation work was performed by Jascon 30 and Jascon 25, supported by a number of WAV’s marine support vessels and barges.

The Nigerian Petroleum Development Company Limited (NPDC), a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), awarded the contract to West African Ventures (WAV) to install and commission a new 16” x 13.5 km pipeline.

TIP Project – Pipelay, Lifting and Subsea Works

The project was a 2-year Call-out Contract for the Transportation and Installation of Rigid Pipeline, Risers and Offshore Structures (TIP). It entailed Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Transportation, Fabrication, Offshore Installation, Pre-commissioning and Touch-up Painting (where applicable) for the following:
WAV outfitted the Jascon 2 accommodation barge with a 300-t main crane and pipelay equipment. The conversion was engineered in-house and executed at the company’s fabrication yard in Onne, Nigeria.
